Henry County State Court began convening in person starting May 14 with a number of regulations in effect. Officials announced that social distancing will be enforced, and everyone entering the building will be required to wear a protective face mask.

Citizens are asked not to bring nonessential persons with them, especially children, as courtroom space is limited. Temperature screenings will be done at the courthouse door, and sick people are instructed not to come to court. Any party or attorney can call to speak with a prosecutor before the court date and discuss ways to resolve the case which, in some cases, may not require a court appearance.
