Macy's has announced changes inside its location at The Mall at Stonecrest, including a coming “must-shop outlet store” on the second level.
"You'll find that adjustments have been made to the kids and home departments in order to enhance your shopping experience,” the company said in a news release. “In addition, we're bringing you Macy's Backstage.”
The Macy's Backstage concept offers more fashion and home brands at "show-stopping prices," the company said. The concept is also coming to other area malls, including Gwinnett Place.
The target audience of the second-floor section is “the seasoned outlet shopper who enjoys the excitement of the treasure hunt but whose time and money is a commodity,” Vanessa LeFebvre, senior vice president, said in a news release.
Macy’s hopes the second-floor portion will have a grand opening on June 17.
