Services have been set for one of the five people killed in a weekend house fire in Gwinnett.
Visitation for Edward "Cameron" Brown, 21, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Meadows Funeral Home, 760 Ga. 11 SE in Monroe.
A funeral will be held at noon Thursday at Monroe Church of God, 1204 E Church St. in Monroe, with burial to follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
Brown, a graduate of Loganville's Walnut Grove High School, was one of five people killed early Sunday morning when flames ripped through a home on Post Oak Drive in Duluth. He is survived by his parents and a brother, Chase. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chase Brown College Fund in care of Athens First Bank and Trust.
Others killed in the fire included Danielle Waring, Brown's 18-year-old girlfriend; David Allen Waring Sr., Danielle's 45-year-old father; 47-year-old Kelley Tomkinson; and 45-year-old Kimberly Lewis.
It was unclear Wednesday if arrangements had been made for the remaining four fire victims. Read more about who they were here.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
"Fire investigators are continuing to interview individuals connected to the case and gather information," Capt. Tommy Rutledge said Tuesday. "They are still not able to rule out the fire pit on the back deck as a potential cause."
Online fundraising pages have been made for many of the victims' families. Links to them are below.
