A security guard was shot and wounded early Wednesday outside a northeast Atlanta nightclub, police said.
A security guard was shot and wounded early Wednesday outside a northeast Atlanta nightclub, police said.
According to Atlanta police dispatchers, the shooting happened just after 3 a.m. at Club Onyx in the 1800 block of Cheshire Bridge Road.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the security guard was breaking up a fight in the parking lot of the club when he was shot.
Two suspects fled in a white Mercedes Benz, according to Channel 2.
The victim’s name and condition were not immediately available.
