University of Georgia gymnasts cheer as they move to the vault category.

The best gymnasts in the Southeastern Conference are coming to Gwinnett this spring.

The SEC Gymnastics Championship will be held at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth on March 21. This will be the sixth time the venue has hosted the competition, with the last championship held in Duluth in 2015.

Eight schools of the 14 in the SEC field a gymnastics team: the University of Georgia, University of Florida, Louisiana State University, University of Kentucky, University of Alabama, Auburn University, University of Missouri and University of Arkansas. All eight teams are nationally ranked. Florida is ranked highest as No. 6 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC. Georgia is ranked No. 8 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC.

Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $17 to $24 for both sessions. The teams seeded five through eight will start competition at 3:30 p.m. and those seeded one through four will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at InfiniteEnergyCenter.com, at the arena’s box office and by phone at 770-626-2464.
