The Sandy Springs Conservancy announced it is seeking a new executive director to succeed Melody Harclerode, who is leaving in March after three years with the citizens conservation group for another metro area organization.

An online job posting says the Conservancy seeks a candidate "with a passion for parks, green space and connective trails to build strategic leadership, strengthen community support, and advance the organization's goals, objectives and projects."

Responsibilities will include implementing a strategic plan and policies, executing projects, budgeting, fundraising, running the organization, managing the database and marketing. The posting closes Feb. 11. To view it: https://bit.ly/314LoEH

Applicants should submit a cover letter and resume in a single .pdf document to: ED@sandyspringsconservancy.org

The Conservancy, according to the announcement, works to expand existing city parks, promote park and trail creation throughout Sandy Springs, and increase Chattahoochee River access. Information: https://bit.ly/2O08RS8
