Sandy Springs closes downtown crossroads

An intersection in downtown Sandy Springs – Hilderbrand and Blue Stone roads – closed in recent days and will remain closed into the new year for street improvements connected with the City Springs redevelopment, city officials said.

The intersection is expected to reopen later this winter. Detours will be posted.

During the closures, driveways to all businesses in the work zone will be accessible, and area retailers will remain open for business, officials said.
