Roundabout construction beginning at Venture, Day in Duluth

Construction will begin later this month on the Venture Drive at Day Drive roundabout project.

The project includes the installation of lighting at the roundabout, curb and gutter, sidewalks and necessary drainage improvements. Crews hope to complete construction by Feb. 2020. Completion time depends on actual weather conditions, utility conflicts encountered, etc., which may lengthen or shorten the project time.

This project is funded through the 2017 and 2009 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) program, the State Road and Tollway Authority’s Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank and the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District.
