A ruptured gas line on Roswell Road has shut down the southbound lane, Atlanta Fire Capt. Joylon Bundridge said.
The incident happened at 4380 Roswell Road and stemmed from a construction accident, Bundridge said.
The gas line was severed by equipment from a construction company, he said.
Atlanta Gas Light crews arrived at the scene shortly after 3 p.m., Bundridge said. It's unclear how long the road will remain closed, he said.
