A lane is closed in southwest Atlanta while crews complete restoration work on a road.

The southbound lane of Butner Road is inaccessible from Camp Creek Parkway to Merk Road SW.

The closure will last daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Saturday, officials said.

Traffic control measures are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. They are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.
