A naked burglar found in the ceiling of a Newton County middle school Saturday morning was soon sporting a jail jumpsuit.
After searching more than two hours for whoever set off the Cousins Middle School security alarm, officers found 21-year-old Ronald Stephens, who apparently took his clothes off to fit through a vent, the Newton Citizen reported.
Stephens' pants, socks and shoes were found on the roof of the Covington school, the newspaper reported. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and burglary, in addition to a probation violation, police said.
Stephens, of Conyers, was on probation following a previous conviction on burglary and forgery charges, according to Newton County jail records. He was being held without bond Monday night.
