The Georgia Department of Transportation invites the public to a meeting to learn more about the West Winder Bypass at Ga. 316 from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Barrow County Senior Center, 80 Lee St. in Winder.
This project, located in Barrow County, is a proposal to construct a new interchange for the West Winder Bypass at Ga. 316, just east of Patrick Mill Road. A new diamond interchange will be constructed at the intersection of Patrick Mill Road and Ga. 316. This is the third and final stage of the West Winder Bypass project that connects Ga. 316 and Ga. 211 in Barrow County. The proposed project is approximately 0.8 mile long.
