DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James and Sheriff Thomas Brown want to shore up their flanks with the clergy on July 21 with their third annual "Faith Leaders Day."

They say the event at the DeKalb County Courthouse will educate religious leaders on the criminal justice system  and includes a tour of the jail and the medical examiner's office. DeKalb Police Chief William O'Brien is to give an overview.

The event starts at 8 a.m. For information, email Dana Lawrence, delawrence@dekalbcountyga.gov, or Ebony Phillips, eaphillips@dekalbcountyga.gov.
