Powder Springs sets dates for training, retreats
Powder Springs Mayor Patricia Vaughn and the city council will be traveling to Villa Rica Wednesday for an afternoon “pre-retreat finance meeting,” Interim City Manager Pam Conner said Monday.
The full annual planning retreat will take place in early March at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris.
Also, Vaughn and the city council plan to meet with city employees for training sessions 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 26 and 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Powder Springs Police Department.
Instead of holding their agenda work session at 5 p.m. Feb. 25, Vaughn and the city council will meet at 5 p.m. Feb. 26 in the second floor conference room, City Hall, 4484 Marietta St.
