Payment of expenses for Powder Springs board and commission members has been restricted by a Monday vote of the City Council.

These expenses will be subject to budget availability and prior approval of Mayor Al Thurman and the City Council.

During a work session last month, City Manager Pam Conner said this ordinance is to clarify policy associated with expense reimbursements for boards and commissions that was too broad. Information: CityOfPowderSprings.org/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/906.
