Powder Springs budget to be adopted Monday

No tax increase and no use of reserves are proposed in the new Powder Springs budget.

The Powder Springs City Council will hold a second public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2018 budget and is expected to adopt the budget during its 7 p.m. meeting Monday at Council Chambers, Community Development Building, 4488 Pineview Drive, Powder Springs.

The budget will be in effect July 1 through June 30, 2018.

The total budget will be around $17.4 million.
