This Is It Bar-B-Que & Seafood in Lithonia passed its follow-up inspection, scoring an 80, according to DeKalb County health department records.

The restaurant was originally cited for storing pots with food residue on them as clean and for having flies throughout the establishment.

A barbecue spot in Lithonia failed a recent health inspection, according to DeKalb County health department records.

This Is It Bar-B-Q & Seafood, at 7331 Stonecrest Concourse near Stonecrest Mall, scored a 60 on its Wednesday health inspection. Any score below a 70 is considered failing.

Violations included several pots and strainers with food residue being stored as clean, and flies throughout the restaurant.

On Thursday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution called the barbecue restaurant twice for comment and was hung up on both times. The phone lines to the restaurant now appear to be disconnected on Friday.

The restaurant scored an 81 on its previous inspection in December 2017 inspection and a 92 on its November 2017 inspection.

Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.
