A Sandy Springs man has been missing for a few days and police are asking the public to help find him.

Larry Cavanaugh, 78, was last seen on Sunday, Feb. 11.

Police said Cavanaugh missed an appointment on Tuesday. Whenever he left home, he left his cell phone there.

Police said he is presumed to be in his car, a green 1996 BMW. The Georgia plate number is PLG5118.

“We hope someone recognizes him or his vehicle,” said Sam Worsham with Sandy Springs police.

Anyone with information about Cavanaugh’s whereabouts should call the Sandy Springs Police Department at 770-551-6900.
