Atlanta police said they are investigating the discovery Tuesday of a human skull and other human bones in the 1400 block of Park Avenue SE.
Zone 3 units were dispatched about 2 p.m. to the scene near the intersection of McDonough Boulevard and Boulevard, police said. Homicide unit officers were requested and responded, followed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The medical examiner took custody of the remains for further examination, police said. The homicide unit also continues its investigation.
