Clayton County police identified the man found outside a dollar store Thursday as Travis Ray Dawson, 47.
The man's body was found shortly after 7 a.m. outside the Family Dollar store at 5425 Riverdale Road, Clayton police Officer J. Schneller told the AJC.
Schneller said the man had been shot.
He could not said whether the shooting happened at that location or the man was shot elsewhere and his body dumped behind the store.
