A 2-month-old boy allegedly "snatched" from his mother by his father in a Tucker apartment building Wednesday evening has been found safe, authorities said.

Andy Zoel Campos was located in Luthersville with help from the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office, Gwinnett police said.

The suspect, Harold “Jose” Caceres, was not there when the infant was found and is not in custody, police said late Wednesday night. At minimum, he is facing the charge of interference with custody, authorities said.

The infant was taken just before 8 p.m., according to an alert issued by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

He was believed to be with Caceres, according to the alert, also known as a Levi's Call. The call is for abducted children believed to be in "extreme danger."

Caceres is the baby's father and the estranged boyfriend of the mother, Yesenia Campos, 24, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department. Caceres allegedly told his ex-girlfriend "that he's going to make her suffer," police said.

Caceres was described as in his early 20s, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He was wearing a black hat and black T-shirt, Nike shoes and a silver necklace. The baby was taken from the Carrington Chase Apartments in the 1000 block of Oak Chase Drive.

Caceres was driving a green Honda Accord with Georgia tags BMX-7810. Police said Caceres had no means for caring for the child.

Anyone with information on Caceres should call the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5911.
