A pilot was able to get a plane back up and running Monday after making an emergency landing on a Georgia interstate.

The plane, a Cessna 182 fixed-wing, single-engine aircraft, landed on I-185 northbound between mile markers 26 and 27.

The area is near Whitesville in Harris County, about 80 miles southwest of Atlanta.

The pilot didn’t sustain any injuries, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said officials don’t know if there were others aboard the aircraft.

“The event is under investigation,” she said.
