Officials don’t know if anyone was injured when a small plane landed on an interstate Monday in Harris County, a Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said.

The plane, an RV-4 fixed wing, single-engine model, landed on I-185 northbound between mile markers 26 and 27.

The area is near Whitesville, which is about 80 miles southwest of Atlanta.

“We do not know the number of people on board,” FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said.
