A pedestrian was killed Monday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in a residential neighborhood near Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville police said.

Tran Hong, 79, was hit by a U-Haul truck at the intersection of Daniel Lane and Johnson Road shortly before 5 p.m., Channel 2 Action News reported. The Lawrenceville resident died at the scene, but the truck kept driving, according to police.

Police have not found the truck believed to be involved, but it has a missing right headlight and corner light, according to a press release. The driver is believed to be male, Lawrenceville police said.
