To encourage progress and improvement of the civic, cultural and educational life of the region, the Board of the Peachtree Gateway Partnership has expanded to include new organizations and elected officials, according to a press release.
Peachtree Corners Mayor Mike Mason, Tucker Mayor Frank Auman, DeKalb Commissioner Nancy Jester, Eric Johnson of Comprehensive Program Services, Matt Reid of Winter Properties and Stefanie Freeman, president of the Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber have agreed to serve as Board members for the PGP.
“The PGP Board is excited to welcome these new jurisdictions and county representatives to support better communication and collaboration,” said Chamblee Mayor Eric Clarkson, who is also chairman of the PGP.
The PGP’s mission is to promote and sustain a responsible pro-business environment in the geographic area surrounding DeKalb-Peachtree Airport and encompassing the cities of northeast DeKalb and Gwinnett counties. During the past four years, the PGP coordinated public services and infrastructure improvements, created the Chamblee Doraville Community Improvement District, planned transit services on the anticipated Top End 285 Express Lanes and coordinated multi-use trails among the cities and county.

The PGP will hold the remainder of their Board Meetings during lunch, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the City of Chamblee City Hall, 5468 Peachtree Road, or by conference call on the following dates: July 31, Sept. 25 and Nov. 20.
The Peachtree Gateway Partnership supports the services provided by local governments and public health organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
