After months of designing, inputting data and testing, Peachtree Corners has launched a new Geographic Information System Mapping Service to make information about the city easily accessible and usable for citizens, business owners and operators.

The interactive maps may be used to confirm an address is located in city limits, to locate voting and school districts, and determine if property is located within the river corridor. The service also provides information about active construction sites and the location of sidewalks, trails and bus stops.

“The interactive mapping system is an incredibly useful tool and educational resource for those seeking information about property in Peachtree Corners,” said Brian Johnson, City Manager.

The interactive GIS Mapping Service is available on a link at the top of the city’s website: www.peachtreecornersga.gov labeled “Maps.”

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
