Peachtree City notes water rules

Recent hot and dry weather has prompted Peachtree City to remind its residents about outdoor watering restrictions. Daily watering for planting, growing, managing or maintaining ground cover, trees, shrubs and plants is limited to 4 p.m. to 10 a.m.

The state-mandated odd/even schedule for other activities such as car washing and pressure washing is Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday for odd addresses and Monday/Wednesday/Saturday for even addresses. However, companies hired to wash cars or pressure wash houses may operate any day of the week.
