Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will begin single lane closures on Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Parkway this week. The lane closures will occur 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from Holiday Marina to McEver Road until Tuesday, Nov. 26, weather-permitting.
Crews will close the road to complete final asphalt topping for this Lanier Islands Parkway widening project.
Construction workers will use flagging operations to help guide traffic through the construction zone.
Drivers are reminded to watch for construction workers and travel with caution through the work zone.
