Paving will slow drivers on Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Pkwy

Construction crews working with the Georgia Department of Transportation will use single lane closures along the Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Parkway 9 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily through Monday March 16 as part of the roadway widening project. The lane closures will occur between Holiday Marina and McEver Road and be clearly marked.

Workers will need the lanes closures to perform final asphalt topping along with sidewalk and sod installation.

As always, this work depends on weather conditions. Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive alert through the construction zone.
