Six companies and individuals were recognized for excellence in imagination, innovation and influence at the 2014 Partnership Gwinnett Economic Outlook earlier this week.

The Outlook conference highlighted Gwinnett’s economic ‘wins’ in 2014, including a total of 23 relocations and expansions, a third of which were international companies, as well as 1,600 new jobs and $125 million in capital investment.

Initiative award winners include Eric Van Otteren, Snellville economic development manager and Dan King, chapter leader of the Gwinnett Angels.

For Innovation, Jose Hevia was recognized for the RFID-enabled beer wall concept invention, DraftServ and Lawrenceville entrepreneur Sam Tesh, CEO and founder of Loudfund, for a new model of financing musicians where fans fund projects and artists share royalties and rewards with their investors. Eagle Rock Studio Atlanta and Gwinnett County Public Schools rounded out the list of 2014 award winners.
