Parkview softball team to raise money for cancer research

Aug 12, 2011The Parkview High School softball team will join efforts with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) as part of a campaign dubbed "Beat Cancer with a Bat."
The campaign invites softball teams from around the country to donate proceeds from at least one game during the season to NFCR.
Parkview’s featured game will be held 7 p.m. Aug. 23 against Central Gwinnett High at Parkview High’s field. Admission is $6.
