An overnight fire in Norcross destroyed a mobile home and displaced four people, Gwinett County Fire and Emergency Services said.
A storage shed caught fire around 3:15 a.m. and was getting close to a home, according to the person called 911. When firefighters arrived to the Norcross Mobile Home Village at 3:22 a.m., the flames had reached the home at 4498 Buford Highway and all four occupants — three adults and a child — had evacuated.

Firefighters first worked to extinguish fire at parts of the home that could have allowed it to spread to neighboring residences. Then, they searched the interior and continued fighting the fire until it was deemed under control at 5:24 a.m.
The home is considered a total loss due to fire, smoke and water damage, according to the fire department. A dog had gone missing from the home during the fire, but was found safe several hours later.
