Sandy Springs officials will hold a rescheduled open house 6 p.m. Wednesday at city hall, 7840 Roswell Road, on the developing City Center downtown project. The original Feb. 25 date was scuttled due to a winter storm.

City officials said they’ll update residents on the development’s progress, and then seek input from residents on what City Center should look like. Staffers will present visual preference surveys on a number of planned project components, including a performing arts center, city hall offices, a city green and retail and residential development.

Planned elements of the development centering on Roswell Road include mixed-use development featuring dining, retail shops and residential living, a civic and cultural center and green space.

For those who can’t attend, an online survey on the project will open up Thursday morning at Sandyspringscitycenter.com
