One dead in Gwinnett wreck

One person was killed Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Gwinnett County.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Steve Reynolds Boulevard near Beaver Ruin Road.

Gwinnett County police spokesman Ed Ritter told the AJC that a vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree, and that one person was killed.

The identity of the person killed was not immediately available.
