Nighttime lane closures on I-985 southbound near Flowery Branch

Single left-hand lane closures will occur on Interstate 985 southbound between Oakwood/Exit 17 and Flowery Branch, Spout Springs Road/Exit 12 Jan. 14 through Jan. 19.

This nightly lane closure will begin at 7 p.m. and continue overnight until 5:30 a.m. through Saturday morning. These lane closures will allow G.P.’s Enterprises, Inc. to continue construction to the new Exit 14 interchange by paving the inside shoulder of I-985.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when entering the work zone and plan ahead as these single lane closures may cause delays.
