New Stone Mountain district adding security patrols

The new Community Improvement District in Stone Mountain has hired private security officers to patrol the area during the evening and overnight.

Off-duty DeKalb County Police officers also have been hired, to emphasize a strong public safety aspect in the area for both businesses and customers.
