Renva Harmon Watterson, the vice president for academic and student affairs at Georgia Highlands College, will serve as the school's interim president starting Monday, officials announced Thursday.
She replaces Rob Watts, who had been interim president but was tapped Wednesday to serve as the interim president of Georgia Perimeter College.
Georgia Perimeter's previous president, Anthony Tricoli, stepped down Monday after reporting that the school has a nearly $16 million budget shortfall.
