The Civic League for Regional Atlanta is inviting metro residents from throughout the 10-county metro area to the third annual Neighborhood Summit, a daylong event on Sept. 24 designed to give grassroots leaders access to resources on a range of topics, including community gardens, foreclosures, homeowners associations and regional transit.
The summit is scheduled to be held Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Loudermilk Center for the Regional Community at 40 Courtland Street in downtown Atlanta. Visit www.neighborhoodsummit.org for details.
The summit attracts about 500 participants annually and is open to residents of Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties.
