G.M. named for Sandy Springs performance venue

Sandy Springs and its venue manager have reached out to Macau, China, to select the general manager of the public gathering spaces now under construction in the City Springs downtown redevelopment
Michael Enoch will oversee the performing arts theater, studio theater, meeting spaces and park for Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, venue manager of City Springs. Currently serving Spectra at the Studio City Events Center in Macau, Enoch is expected to begin his new role in North Fulton on Feb. 1.
“Michael has the depth of experience to help us successfully launch the performing arts center as well as develop strong entertainment and educational programming and events. In addition, he will be instrumental in helping launch our foundation activities,” said John McDonough, city manager of Sandy Springs.
Enoch is a 38-year industry veteran with prior experience at sites including the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nev.; Rose Garden Arena, Portland, Ore.; Coors Amphitheatre, Chula Vista, Calif.; and venues in Thailand and Shanghai, China.
Spectra by Comcast Spectacor provides venue management, food services, ticketing and other services at more than 400 global properties including the Macon Civic Center, James Brown Arena in Augusta and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta.
