Mitchell to host financial literacy panel on Wednesday
In an effort to educate Atlanta's youth on the importance of personal financial management skills, Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell will lead a panel discussion entitled "Uncorked: A Toast to Financial Literacy" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at The Atlantic, 361 17th Street N.W. The public is invited.
The financial literacy education campaign is part of a state-wide campaign stop led by Shawnnell Brown, Miss Black Georgia USA, who has made financial literacy a key component of her platform as she speaks with youth across the state.
