Milton officials are reminding the public that though the Milton Country Club is now owned by the city, tennis is in play and the swimming pool will soon be open for the season, the golf course and golf cart paths are still closed – and neighbors have been told to call the police if they see unauthorized persons on the property.

The issue of the golf course and path easements is unresolved, and some paths cross private property. “It’s important that we are good neighbors by adhering to the park closure signs,” said City Manager Steve Krokoff.

Parks and Recreation Director Jim Cregge said, “We want to get the green space portion of the property opened as quickly as possible, but not at the expense of developing a solid master plan that incorporates our citizens’ input.”

Notices of community planning meetings to be held this summer will be posted to the city's website and social media accounts and included in city email updates. To register your email address: info@cityofmiltonga.us
