Parts of Webb Road and Deerfield Parkway in Milton will be closed Saturday morning for the Milton Mayor’s Run Presents Jog for a Cause, a charity fund-raiser and 5K Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Webb will be closed at Deerfield – location of Freedom Park and the beginning and end of the run – at 5:30 a.m., according to a city announcement. The 5K race starts at 7:30 a.m. Participants will head south on Deerfield to Morris Road; turn back and follow Deerfield north, past Webb, to Cumming Highway; and then turn around and return to Webb.

One side of Deerfield also will be closed. “Drivers can still proceed in both directions on the other side of Deerfield Parkway, but should expect delays,” the city said. All roads are to reopen to regular traffic by 9:30 a.m.
