Atlantans are encouraging kids to eat healthier and be more physically active through an intergenerational health program sponsored by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia Foundation.

Volunteers, who are 50 and older, spend one hour a week with children in kindergarten through fifth grade -- playing active games, making healthy snacks and teaching them about food choices.
