Authorities are investigating the deaths of two men struck by trains this week in East Point and Chamblee.
The latest incident happened about 9 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Welcome All and Ben Hill roads in East Point.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office, Derrick West, 21, of Atlanta, died after being hit by a train.
In Chamblee, police are investigating the death of a man who was struck by a train Tuesday night.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the man was walking along railroad tracks near Peachtree Road and Pierce Drive when he was hit.
The man’s identity has not been released.
