Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $144 million
The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing climbed to $144 million after no players matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's game.
There were also no tickets sold in Georgia that matched the first five numbers drawn Tuesday night -- 7, 8, 38, 39 and 48 -- but missed the Mega Ball of 22. Five players elsewhere picked those numbers, and won $250,000.
Five Georgia players matched four of the first five numbers along with the Mega Ball and won $10,000 each.
