The holidays could be exceptionally happy for some lucky lottery players. The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to $135 million after no one matched all the winning numbers Tuesday.

The numbers in Friday's drawing were 2, 4, 26, 36 and 39, and Mega Ball 27.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since Nov. 4 and has rolled over 12 times, lottery officials noted.

Mega Millions offers two jackpot payment options: about $5.1 million a year for 26 years with the annuity option; or a single payment worth about $99 million with the cash option.

The last winning Mega Millions ticket was sold Nov. 1 in California, when the jackpot was $78 million. The biggest-ever jackpot prize was $390 million in March 2007 to winners in Georgia and New Jersey.

Mega Millions tickets are $1 per play. Players can multiply prizes with the Megaplier option for an additional $1 per play.

As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
