Clayton County police have cancelled a Mattie's Call alert for Jonesboro man reported missing on Monday.
Gabriel Emmanuel Hardnett walked away from his home on Smith Court around 8 p.m. Monday, Clayton County police spokesman John K. Schneller said.
Schneller said Hardnett, 27, has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and did not have his medication with him.
The alert was cancelled Tuesday night. No update was available on Hardnett's condition, Schneller said.
