Marietta hosts mandatory grant application workshops

Marietta will hold Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application workshops for nonprofit organizations seeking federal grant funding for programs operating within the city.

Attendance at one of the two workshops is required to receive an application.

The sessions will be held at 11 a.m. May 8 and 9 in the division office, 268 Lawrence St., Suite 200, Marietta.

Marietta supports Equal Opportunity and Fair Housing and does not discriminate in any of its Block Grant programs on the basis of race, color, creed, ethnicity, sex, familial status, age, religion or disability, according to city officials.
