A 24-year-old man was found shot to death Friday afternoon at a DeKalb apartment complex, police said.

Authorities were called around 5 p.m. to the scene at the Reserve at Stone Creek apartments in the 2300 block of Treehills Parkway.

A black male was found in a ground-floor apartment of a three-story building in the complex, Lt. Tom Stewart of the DeKalb County Police Department told the AJC.

Police don't know how many shots were fired, he said, and there are no known suspects or a motive.

"Our investigation is still in its infancy," Stewart said.
