Nearly three months after the Romano’s Macaroni Grill at the Mall of Georgia sustained extensive damage in a fire, the restaurant has re-opened, a spokeswoman said Wednesday.

The restaurant sat closed for weeks after the fire because it required so much repair. Customers and staff were evacuated in the middle of the lunch rush on May 14 when an employee saw smoke coming from a storage area.

The Macaroni Grill will now be open at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday and at 10 a.m. Sundays for brunch. It’s open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The remodel comes with a revamped lunch menu including prosciutto grilled cheese and ratatouille.

The Mall of Georgia Macaroni Grill is located at 3207 Buford Drive in Buford.
